Area 51 — Privacy Policy
Effective 11 September 2026
Area 51 is developed and published by Citiview Group. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
We do not collect any personal data
Area 51 does not collect, store, transmit or sell any personal information. The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
The app works entirely offline
Area 51 requires no internet connection to function. It makes no network requests, so nothing about your play session ever leaves your headset.
What is stored, and where
The app saves a small amount of progress and preference data on your own headset so the game opens the way you left it. This is written to the app's private storage on the device using the standard Unity settings store, and is never transmitted anywhere.
- Which level you last reached, and how many hostiles you have cleared on it.
- Whether music is playing, and its volume.
None of this is personal information, and none of it can identify you.
Sensor and tracking data
Like any VR app, Area 51 receives head and controller position from the headset in order to draw the world from your point of view and to let you aim and move. This data is used only in the moment, to render the current frame. It is never recorded, stored, or transmitted off the device.
How the information is used
The on-device data described above is used for one purpose only: to run the game and restore your settings between sessions. It is not profiled, not analysed, and not used for advertising.
Sharing
Nothing is shared. There are no third-party SDKs, no analytics providers, no ad networks, and no servers operated by Citiview Group that this app talks to. No data is sold or disclosed to anyone.
Retention and deletion
The settings file lives on your headset for as long as the app is installed. Uninstalling Area 51 deletes it permanently, along with everything the app has ever stored. Because nothing is transmitted, there is no copy anywhere else to delete, and no request needs to be made to us.
Children
Area 51 is rated for teens and adults and is not directed at children. No personal information is knowingly collected from anyone, of any age.
